After graduating from George Mason University, Mr. Diamond began his career in education in 2006 as a History teacher at Charles City Middle School in Charles City County Public Schools. After two years, he joined Richmond Public Schools, where he spent eight years teaching Social Studies at Thompson Middle School.
In 2016, Mr. Diamond became part of Team Chesterfield as a Social Studies teacher at Falling Creek Middle School. In 2017, he pursued a master's degree in Administration and Supervision while also serving as the school's Dean of Students. During his two years in that role, he worked closely with English Learner (EL) students and the Social Studies department, while also launching an outdoor adventure club to promote students' social and emotional growth.
Mr. Diamond earned his master's degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of Virginia in 2019. That same year, he was named Associate Principal at Robious Middle School. After serving in that role for three years, he became principal of Robious Middle School in June 2022.
As principal, Mr. Diamond is committed to building a school culture rooted in kindness, communication, and strong partnerships with students, families, and staff. He is honored to serve the Robious Middle School community! Go Raiders!
